Wake Up at Wyreside

Sally Hughes reports that the carp have begun to wake up at Wyreside in the last few weeks with a number of nice fish being taken from the venue. A notable capture was that of Scott Young who banked a new thirty plus from Wyre Lake on the 12th Febuary whilst fishing the Swamp Swim. The 31lb mirror fell to Prem Matrix on a Hybrid running rig.
Also amongst the fish was Gavin Riddell from Scotland, who banked a couple of stunning mirrors from Wyre, both at over 26lbs.
