Matt Boyles got just the present he was after from Santa this year in the shape of this stunning 25lb 6oz Capesthorne lump, which he banked between Christmas and New Year.

It was Matt’s first trip back to the Main Lake since it froze over, and after the recent mild spell he decided it was time to have another go – and what a decision it turned out to be! The fish was Matt’s eleventh from the water for 2007 and rounded off a fantastic tally in style.
