Mike Foster Nets An Old Friend at Capesthorne

Mike Foster recently banked Two Tone from Capesthorne Main Lake at a new best weight of 34lb 2oz (pictured below). Mike took the stunning fish on the 3rd October, fishing the steps by the toilet end of the Garden Pool. Mike explained “I had a new wind blowing in and it looked good, at about 3.30pm we had a heavy shower and just as I got the brolly up I got a good take on the left hand rod. My mate Kev had popped over from the bottom lake so he did the honours with the net; I could not believe it was two tone again �" that’s the sixth time in twelve years that I have caught this magnificent creature. My pal, Paul came up with the Rubens and verified the weight, they gave me a lot of help and it was very much appreciated.”
