Sally Hughes has been in touch to let us know how the lakes are fishing up at Wyreside. Last week the venue topped 95 fish in a week but catches have improved further still with a staggering 105 fish banked during the last week alone!

With a favourable weather report given for the coming weeks, who knows what catches could be around the corner, but one thing is clear - if you want a decent chance of a lump, then you’d better get yourself up to Wyreside pronto whilst the fish remain on the feed!

There have been some truly outstanding catches across all the lakes including; WYRE: Simon with Big Lyn at 38lbs 4oz. SUNNY 1: Mr McLaren with Pecks at 33lbs plus fish of 29lb and 24lb during 48hrs fishing. BANTON'S: Richard Capstick with 2 Bleeps at 37lbs 8oz (pictured) plus fish of 27lb and 23lb. Matt Birkin - A new 30lbs 12oz fish named 'Kinky' plus fish of; 2x28lb, 25lb, 2x22lb, 21lb, 19lb, and 17lb over a 5 day session.
