James Davies (brother of Thompson's pool regular Jon) beat his previous personal best by just 4 oz with a superb 28 lb 12 oz mirror. James fished alongside Jon in "The Well" swim catching the specimen on Tails Up OCM on a size 6 Fox series 1 hook. Lee Moriarty and his pal Lee Warwick both had a fish with a 19 lb and 22 lb mirror respectively. It was Heathrow Baits Red Indian boilies doing the trick for both anglers. Steve Jones fished "The Well" a couple of days before James Davies (above) and managed a 20 lb mirror. Steve fished small P.V.A bags filled with pellet and crushed Dynamite Indulgence Spicy Chicken boilies. Wes Williams broke his personal best by over 3 lb with a gorgeous looking 24 lb common.
