Personal Bests all round at Wyreside

Wyreside has certainly been on form over the last week with no less than one hundred and thirty eight fish banked at the Lancaster carp fishery!

Sally Hughes informed us of a nice new 30lb fish caught from Bantons, and none too surprisingly, a lot of anglers have been beating their personal bests over the last week. Quarry Lake was a star with 28 catches in all and Sunnyside 1's averages are holding at an impressive 21.1lb.

In addition to the new 30lb’er from Bantons, the fishery has seen an unbelievable fifty four fish over 20lb banked over the last week, with seventeen of these over 25lb!
