It has been smiles all round this week at Pendle View fisheries, with numerous good catches taken.

Firstly we have Thomas Edwards who took no less than 20 carp, topped by a 22lb 8oz Mirror. Tom fished for a week at the venue, and used worm hookbaits to catch the resident carp and bream. Tom also lost a good fish after playing it for thirty minutes, and as a result decided to stay for another three days!

Good carp were also taken by other anglers, such as Malcolm Holliday who took a 15lb koi carp, and Jake Ansell who managed to bag himself a 30lb Common!

The site work is now almost complete, and on offer is the sale of quality bait and tackle on-site, as well as an area for anglers to sit down and have a break, in the main office building.
