Redesmere Success for Nige
Jun 13,2005 00:00 by Julian

Nige Weston, aka Blank, has managed to start his season off well, taking a 22lb 8oz Common from The North West’s well-known Redesmere. The conditions favoured the area Nige was fishing, and his bed of hemp with a single Pineapple pop-up did the business for “Monkey Junior”, who was fishing “The Front” peg on The Stream. This is Nige’s first fish from the venue, and just his second ever twenty pounder, and he is now lucky enough to have taken 20lb specimens of both Mirror and Common carp already in 2005. Hopefully this is just the start of a good season, that will see Nige in pursuit of specimens of a variety of species across the SOTAS waters.
