The Pleasure Lake, at the Lyn y Gors fishery has recently received a planting of reeds, designed to improve the overall look of the like, water quality, and to improve spawning conditions. It will also create more features for the lake, designed to benefit the pleasure anglers. The environment agency partly funded the project, which is hoped to greatly improve the fishery.

The match lake has also been on form; bags of fish have been taken to around 80lb, with both Carp, Barbel and other silver fish being taken. Nick Slater also tested out a new feeder rod, and put together a bag of 70lb of fish in three hours • not bad!

The Old Carp lake has also been producing well, numerous multiple catches have been reported.

Marc Ward bagged himself a brace of twenties during a 48 hour session using pop ups in the `Aquarium` swim. Also catching was John Aspinalll, who took a three fish haul with the biggest at 15lb 8oz. With many more fish taken by other anglers, it seems like the Simmo’s are on the feed!
