In this special programme, Carp TV is lucky enough to spend time on the bank with the man himself, finding out what makes him tick.
In a fascinating interview, Terry talks about his carp fishing career, from his first ever carp, to the 19lb 8oz fish he caught as a teenager that really began his obsession, plus why he’s happy to use bait boats and believes in carp fishing ‘karma’.
Terry discusses the biggest influences on his carp fishing – fish, venues and personalities - and recalls stories of some of the great lakes he’s fished and famous fish he has target, and how carp fishing has changed since the early days.
We then move onto favourite rigs, starting with the Hinged Stiff Rig and Terry’s part in its development, plus why it suited his fishing of a few years ago, but no longer does these days.
Next Terry talks about how he was involved in the creation of the Chod Rig, which is now so famous, while fishing at the Manor, and he shows us the only bottom rig he now uses and how a little tweak has changed his bottom bait fishing around as he now lands almost every fish he hooks.
