Situated in Ashton-in-Markerfield, Yewtree Reservoir is renowned throughout the North west for it prolific fishing, it is approx two thirds of an acre in size, and accomodates 26 pegs, it is under lock and key access and is members only. It is extremely well stocked with Mirror and Common carp to over 20lbs, there are tench, bream, crucians, perch, skimmers, rudd and roach to well over the pound, roach catches in the warmer months can quite often go over 50lbs and thats not bad any where.
Platform pegs are provided to fish from, and anglers must fish on the platforms. The club have also provided some double platforms for senior/ juniors fishing together, and a number of specially adapted disabled platforms near the access to this water. There are some features to fish to like white and yellow lillies, and the pump house wall.
