Your not kidding ! i always stick to a closed season whether the venue's allow it or not i believe in giving the fish a rest but thats purely my thing and others can do what the hell they please and it dont bother me at all but when it gets this time of year for me, the anticipation of it all just gets to much sometimes. Its like waiting for christmas as a kid....I can smell it in the air !!

went for a walk around my local in a t shirt.
also saw fish.........
i was gutted i was walking n not wetting a line

snap I was down my local putting a bit of bait in and saw em tearing the bottom up, would have got one easy

This warm spell makes me think ???

A warm calm evening and the fly rods propped against the tree and me and the wife are sat on the grass bank drinking wine and eating strawberry's, watching the trout rise on the calmish surface of the River Tee's.
