Just done a quick 10-day search based around Congleton and shows no massive improvement, increased daytime-highs and rain replacing snow, pretty average March by the sound of things.

LOL - Like a Lottery!!

Just viewed BBC weather and looked at teletext and it gives quite a different forecast: Warming over the next few days with heavy rain, and temperatures to near double figures.

After having a look at the 5 day forcast at our local weather station it is def gonna be warming up over the next few days but i dont think we are out of the woods yet up here is always on average 4 degrees colder then it is down there in Congleton ,Stoke or Manchester .So i feel that spring may have started for those of you down in the low lands where up here we will have to wait a bit longer .I dont really do any fishing up here coz there aint really any so fishing-wise spring is on the doorstep for all of us . Tight lines

Went down there about an hour ago weather foul so didnt go for a walk around but main pool looks ice free or it froze with waves in it if there is any ice about it will be goine very soon as this south westerly wind is quite warm .I presume Top pool is ice free but didnt have a decent coat with me so wasnt braving the rain to take a look .
