First storm of the year over me (stoke) at the mo,nowt impressive tho I do enjoy a good storm as long as I aint playing a fish in it

iye just had a few bolts of lightening about an hour ago - wasn't online though, mummy doesn't allow me on the PC in a strom - a previous one blew up the PC and blew the lighting circuit in the house

Rule 124: Thou shall not use PC in storm just incase lightning blows the the lighting circuit in the house!

Flippin heck, they were saying it was one of the dryest Januaries on record - anyone think we've over done it in March - absolutly bucketed down...

Last year I was fishing in a pretty fierce storm at Borwick. As the storm moved overhead I had a look around to see where the highest point was, thinking I'd feel a lot more comfortable knowing there was a tree or pylon nearby to take a strike if it came... unfortunately there was nothing but my umbrella. It was at that point I papped my pants. Fortunatley nowt happened (in either the weather or pant department!)
