Fished it years ago and what you had to do was get beyond the bank of weed that seemed to surround the whole lake but at the drop off so the margins were free then this bank of weed then after the bank of weed was open water all we caught was bream and hybrids 2 of which got attacked by pike on the way in dont know if there are many carp in there but there must be some in a Cheshire mere of that size.

i can guarantee that there are at least 40 fish in there................

Very sandy silty bottom if i remember correctly

ive never even fished the place to be honest.......... but i know a man who has ! and hes got some top photos and nope he wont put them on here

PA dont have any rights on that Marbury but have their own water called Marbury which is completely different.
