Default Re: RMC Sutton and Cemex waters

Just got all my paperwork through for the Sutton Syndicate and was gutted to find out that it was day only..maybe i was a little naive and hadn't spotted any small print on the relevant site or picked up on it in previous columns or mags that i had read...

But it did p*** me off that they tried to have me signed..paid and packaged in a two minute phone call and a couple of emails and there was no mention especially knowing i lived up North and i was a mystery shopper.!!!

Ive checked out some of the other Cemex waters on the site and it looks straightforward at first but there are some grey area's..the odd water is shown as night or day only.!! But you can easily slip up as there are others with hidden time rules..
fortunately i asked for a copy of the syndicate rules before payment and that's how i picked up on it being day only...Rant over

so my question is:-

Anyone Know any good BB's or a drop on water near Sutton.?

PMSL...
sorry fella but that is funny!!!
You've really done your homework there havent you! It's one of the most famous day only lakes in the country.

I know people that have slept in nearby fields and layby's.
If you were fishing it seriously then you have to be there for a 'swim draw' at 4am..
so you'd leave the lake at 10.30 then go to other lake get the rods in then pack away at 3am to get to sutton for the draw.

Bed and breakfast?? pmsl..

best o luck with that one!!

The waters got a good future...did you choose a group water ticket or did you go for the venue ticket.??
I could be wrong or but isnt the group venue ticket cheaper than just buying the venue permit..plus you get the opportunity of fishing other venues like Burghfield Lake and Frimley...

i think a group ticket would be cheaper in the long run,i only got the venue ticket, its closer to home!lol.and its absoloubte bliss!.like you say though they got some good waters on the group ticket, frimley you can only day fish though! unless your in the night syndicate.

Fortunately clocked that one.. if you get the special group ticket you can fish all the group waters and the Special waters for around £140 which would include Abbotts Lake and Wraysbury 1..loads of waters on the card.!!

Car Park would be nice... but ive got a while to wait on there list
