Default Jimmys lake, Borwick waters.

Just thought id let you know about an up and coming water thats in the NW. Jimmys lake has just had 3 fish introduced to the lake a 30lb mirror, 33 common and a 37lb mirror. These fish have been added to an exsisting stock of around 100 fish which already has mid 30 in the lake and also has fish ranging from 15lb- upper 20's. It's going to a syndicate in march but you will be able to fish it as a day ticket but you might have to book. type in jimmys lake borwick waters into google and all the info you need will be on the website.

Get your names down quickly for this place. It is going to be right up there with Pendle at the top of the North West tree. Take a look at the website and check out the guy with the pike. Some serious specimen hunters are going to be on there.

Afraid so Bet.
I've heard that just outside the fishery gates they will be building a couple of new retail outlets. On one corner will be an Argos, on the other a Cash Converter

Don't worry about it, if you ask for advice on waters, everyone gets secret squirrel on you. If the waters you find accessible are more commerical, you get slaughtered for mentioning them.

You can't win with most people on here. Just ignore em.

The reason for that Mutley is because people are protecting what is precious to them. The less that gets blabbed about the decent waters the better. If you want to find out about waters, go and fish them, take a walk round, make some discreet enquiries in local tackle shops, talk to other anglers when you're out fishing. Eventually, you'll be able to sort the good information from the bad and put two and two together.

I was always taught, that the harder you work for something, the more you will appreciate it when you get it.

Maybe people want it all on a plate these days - hence the increasing number of 'holes in the ground' like the one in question
