24 hours = £10, 3 rods, you can fish the motorway side.

Season ticket = £48, 3 rods. Season runs 1st April to 31st march.

Fish stocks, depends who you ask, I've had reports of 160 - 450.

Biggest carp are 2 x 30's, a common and a mirror.

Plenty of catfish to 45lb+

Has this not been done more than a few times recently? A search will yield allsorts, some good advice, lots of pony advice.Needless to say the resident pinnochio penny patroller will tell you the water is positively swimming with 50lb gudgeon and tales of jackanory esque proportions which should be taken with a barge of salt.

Plenty of stock, easy fishing...providing you know where they are/can find them and don't fish like a dumbass,a frequent sight from the bar I can confirm...

Do the test-just go up to him,ask how many 40's Sale holds, and if your eye hurts you'll have answered your question-cos his growing nose will have poked your mince pie out and you'll look like this....>

Default Sale

Not fished Sale for quite a few years but it used to offer excelent floater fishing in the summer, was good fun to turn up in an afternoon bag a few carp and be of before those jetski pillocks turned up.

Alas those days are but a distant memory due to the boom in birdlife and the Menace telling everyone what you were up to in x peg and next time you arrive its pancake tuesday with jif lemon bottles galore.

They've deffo wised up to the old floaters but still have it large with a lot of persistance and some thought, have had a few fish using 'non floaters' whilst floater fishing...

Apparently not as bad since they blocked off the under Mway tunnel to chavvieville but then again they did go and build a bridge over it instead,so don't go leaving your sat nav stuck to the windscreen just yet....

Failing that, give Menace your car keys and a gallon of unleaded-he'll happily mind your motor with the engine running all night whilst snoring away in the back seat, its bound to be warmer than cuddling up with the dog and the alsation () in the haulage tin cabin he calls Chez Menace....

just out of interest, has fishing on the nature reserve side been banned or what? last time i went on i very nearly parted with mith my money for a season ticket, but got told by the big mouth menace that the other side had to be closed for one reason or another, he then went on to tell me, (a complete stranger) all about his up coming divorce procedings!! and that he would deal with other side when he got back later that day. i've not been back since..... anyone up to speed??
