Ive heard wally or newton was the destination of those fish, still alot of very strong feelings about those movements, i with several others will be trying to track them down this year
![]() Those fish deserved to grow on in nucks and become some of the best fish in the area ![]() The area is already devoid of big carp as it is, we have a list of the cretins that MAY have done it..................... |

err lets be factual here ..
it had a 40... it was spawn bound. Lancs carper what do you mean by track them down ? Might have wrong end of stick here but are you trying to reclaim them ? Once they've been moved that's it I'm afraid mate.. they could now be infected with anything !!

HMMMM i remeber a thread like this not so long ago , i think it also caused sum bother as no one had any facts about this 40lb PAAS fish . If we can giys try not to take this thread of track as it wil only get locked . NOw back to the 40lber ....... is it there or isnt it hmmm . i have my own views on this but have learnt that the internet is not always the best place to air them .

And as for they Thorney fish isn't there 3 prime kippers - though they are well down to low to mid 20's. Meant to be de-silting it & netting the little stuff to allow the others to hopefully flourish. |

Im quite new to the forum, only joined a couple of months back but it seems to me that carp anglers nowaday think its the bigger the better! and In My Opinion, i don't think this is true at all! I haven't even had a 20 yet and i have been fishing for 3 years...But i have had some beautiful high doubles of which im more than proud of! So i think that these people who scout round t'internet sites trawling through blogs and threads looking for any info on that evasive 40 should just chill, sit back and think about it! Why not try and 'scout out' a few well known fish and get them on the bank before busting your balls and spending x amount of years and x amount of money catching the 'biggie' just so you can walk into your pub and go, "alright lads, you'll never guess what i had today...." Who knows you may bank a 'biggie' without even trying!
