Default river carpin

good morning ladies and gent's, ive been looking into doing a bit of river carping but struggling for a decent river to target any ideas?

Plenty of pasties to be caught in the Weaver but the bulk of the fish are between 10 and 15lb although there are some good 20s......I personally couldnt be doing with wading through all the smaller fish to get one

Is it not like this at most places.... i don't know of any waters that JUST have big fish in...

Had a few from the Weaver where it runs into Top Flash, nothing massive but has been mid-twenties from there.

Might need to head South a bit, or tackle up for the barbel and get on the Dove, Dane or Ribble

Deffently the weaver i used to fish it 7-8 years back when i was a wee nipper that was before the fish kill its was sillly back then loads of fish, i still bob on for the odd night now,its still fairly easy i personal havent had nothing bigger than 19lb but i know its done fish to 36lb and there's a few high 20's about aswell, its just the matter of getting threw the doubles

can you recommend any areas? can the carp move freely between locks etc.
