i see plenty of bivvies on there matey when going to the gardn centre, from what i have heard from the chaps at Daves of Middlewich there are quite a few carp up to 35lb, some massive crucians, double figure tench and bream and huge perch !!
not sure on the actual amount thats caught though

Does contain a handful of 30's, the biggest being the Moose
which has done 35lbs in the past. During the summer months
though, most of these fish go below the 30lb barrier!
Its very weedy, has yachting at weekends. Its got quite a few
up and coming commons in, which are breaking through the
20lb barrier now, a few more years and who knows how big they'll
get. A lot of fish have been caught with bait boats at range, although,
the fish can be caught near to the bank at times.
Its run by Cudmore, £150 a year I think.

Fished it 4 times in 02, had 2 fish at 16 and 19. Is run by Cudmore, turn up there with a passport photo and the cash and you're in. Is a 4 rod water, can use *********, so some of the regulars cover a lot of water from their swims. Didn't use a boat on there myself.
Does get weedy, is very shallow in most places, 3ft-ish, so you can wade out a long way. Is a picture of a big common at Cudmore and was on the website, was told that this fish had died. You can buy a ticket for a week to try the place out, think it was about £40, not too sure.

hey Gaz
i have just come of doders after fishing there the past two years , tickets cost £90 for 6 months , £150 fro 12 months , these can be bought from cudmore , the balifs name is jasper , nice guy always willing to help , as stated it is a bait boat water but you dont have to use them. If you are fishing at the weekend be prepared to pull your lines in if your on the main part of the lake, the boats can be a pain. On the up side they do help to keep the fish movin but mainly off into the duckery area. The duckery is mainly a daytime area but casting into the gully just out into the main lake you can pick the fish up moving in and out. By far the most productive pegs are in the woods , if you stood on whats known as the high bank you can see the wood across the other side. You can only fish 4 pegs in there due to out of bounds. alot of the fish patrol along that margin but not too tight in , try fishing off towards the bird hive about 20 yards of the bank.
Bait: its a mainline water but dont ignor other quality food sources , most people use hemp and corn . The birds do tend to wipe out alot of the bait so my advice would be to bait up at nite.
Besides that most of the stock tends to be 20lb upwards , there are 30lb fish present , the mouse went 33lb this year but there are larger fish still uncaught. Watch out for the commons ther massive!!! overall mate its an amazin water but by no means easy , from april the 9th until the start of september last year i spent on average 5 nites a week there and my result where 9 20,s to 26,6 (common) 5 x 19lb and 6 fish between 15-18 lb. My downfall was to fish for single bites instead of working a swim over the months ...... iam happy with the results but you live an learn

hope this helps
if you need anymore info let me know

once you are in the end swim on the woods...i never saw anybody, but i was fishing it week days, which was a bonus. Loved the swim, as it gave you alot of scope..if no-body was on, up the margins.
it was just a fair old hike with ya kit from the main car park, cuz i got a ticking off for parking on the industrial easte, thingy(good shortcut).

yea it was a fair old hike 2 gates..tree's n styles...u can barrow. If you got there late and the estate gate was locked, you used to have to unload the barrow, at every fence..i did a move at 12.30am once..and got there about 2ish...lol
Smokey, will prob be able to tell you more about the crack with that easte..i got a warning..lol

mate russ is a case of now you see him now you dont , lol lol he knows what i mean ...lol To be honest they only complain about you parking there during the week days as its a working estate , at the weekend no one bothers much. most pegs on dods is within easy reach i only used my barra twice last year , and i spent alot nights on the bank. The front and the hall are the easy pegs as you can park you car almost next to you . if anyone wants any more pics of fish of there let me know , pikin up a card reader 2morrow so will be able to take the pics of my naffd cam , let me know if your interested.
