Hi, heard its £18 a day just opened with plenty in up to 28lb. The fish have been bred by the owner himself in his two other stock ponds he put 250 fish in. 100 of those were 20's mostly between 24lb - 28lb. My mates going this weekend but can only get on from sunday afternoon cause its full. Just located the other side of Shrewsbury.

Sorry mate to put you straight, but all the fish came from Wellington ****y Park netting when the stock was thinned out, so the fish are weeeeelllllll wise!
So don't go with the idea that you are going to bag up on 20s galore as you will just get ****ed off.
The venue is not too bad looking for a water that is not more the 18mts old.
It has 3 small islands on it just as you come on and that is where you will find most fishing as they are the main features.
The depths at this end range from ?ft in the margins to ?ft at the middle of the islands. ( well do you think I was going to give 4hrs of marker float effort away that easily do you? ).
There are patches of a grassy type weed out there but generally it is just Shropshire sticky mud!
There was some areas that I could not work out as they they seemed to be rippled, like on the beach when the tide has gone, but only more pronounced.
The only thought was that it could be when the digger has been scraping the bottom and the "teeth" have left an impression!
The other end is like a bowl with patches of weed and the same type of bottom but with a few underwater features in pegs 9 to 12.
If I had a choice I would try to get on 10 to 12 and look for the "stick"
and have a plumb around!
Pegs 9-10 do have a smallish plateau in front and the only sign of fish I saw was from that area.
I would tell you more but It poured down relentlessly for nearly 40 hrs out of the 48 I was there and I mean it poured down
To top it all I was not feeling to well on the first evening and I forgot my radio! and did not even feel like drinking my beer or smoking my smokes for the time that I was there.
I did catch but it was a bit embarrasing so I am NOT telling! .
A big plus is there are no silly rules and the farmers daughter is not too bad a site on a chilly wet evening!
Water and toilets are available on site as is a cooked breakfast( No idea how much as I took enough for 2 and never ate a thing ).
The fish are well on Dave D's bait as he only lives not too far away and it is what they had been fed on prior to opening!
Im giving up now as my fingers are getting cramp!!!!
Keith
