Thumbs up Looking for lake in Alsager

Hi All,
Fished a lake in Alsager many years ago, shaped like a doughnut, used to be a Trout fishery, owned by a Jewellers in Crewe, tried to find it the other week, have not been round Crewe for a long time, surprised at the shopping development in the area , could not find the lake at all, got completely lost, do any lads in the Crewe area now the lake , if so could you please give me some directions.
Many thanks in advance
Bob

Hi All,
Like I said the lake was a Brown Trout Fishery, it was circular in shape with a large island in the middle, there was a gantry going across to the island, this had some circulating pumps attached to it, these were used for circulating the water for the trout. To get to it we drove past the old railway works in Crewe to a large T junction ,turned right then immediately left, this is where I got lost, when I passed the Railway works a couple of weeks ago lo and behold , another shopping centre. The lake was owned by a chap who kept hawks and kestrels, he would only let you fish in 6 hour sessions, just like a trout fishery. The lake was surrounded with daffodils in the spring. And yes the island was quite a high mound.
