Default Day ticket venues near Birmingham

Im looking for a day ticket place near to birmingham, ideal place would be around Warick area or somewhere along the M40.

Any ideas or advice?

Default day ticket

I have recently been having a look at what the regions rivers hold in the way of carp and it seems the Warwickshire Avon holds a few real lumps but its kept a bit hush hush.Dont know any day ticket stretches off hand but I bet there is some that may hold a lump or two.A big river carp would be nice dont you think...

Give Cuttle Mill a try......near the National Golf Centre (Bellfry) it's not too far away and holds a fair few large fish.

yeh cuttle is a good bet and they have a runs water next to the main lake that is supposed to be rammed with fish upto 29+.Another little water out that way is 'The Riddings'.Its only tiny about 1 acre but holds some stonking big fish to over 30.....

Penns Hall - is that still a syndicate or has it gone back to day ticket?

Fished there a few times going back about five years. Nice old estate lake in the grounds of a hotel (where they used to film Crossroads!). Shed loads of fish averaging upper doubles with plenty of 20's.

Used to do three day sessions on bank holiday weekends and always came away with a good head of fish between us - nice lookers too!

I think Fosters of Birmingham ran a syndicate on there for a year or two but i thought I heard that it had now gone back to day ticket - not sure if that's the case?

If it is day ticket again it's well worth a look.

You used to be able to fish from on side, and only stalk from the other .

u have got quite afew to go at really, Penns Hall, Fisherwick, Makins Fishery (although slightly north of M40) The river avon holds some brutes.. have seen plenty of 20+ commons under the bridges at Stratford on Avon, as well as a fish callthe Strawberry (40+common) caught i think last year from a stretch upstream.

There is also Kinsgbury water park Tamworth, Blenhiem palace (more Oxford way)

loads to go at.. do a internet search matey.. or speak to Fosters of Birmingham.. they are sound lads in there

Kingburys a nice day ticket fishery. Just remember to take pound coins and change for the barrier that lets you in and not turn up with a ten pound note and be stuck there until the staff arrive like I did the first time I went there..
