Default any good prince albert waters

any of you monkeys fishing on the albert waters? Had a look on the website but all thats on there is a list of waters with no other info on stocks, size of water, size of fish etc. So what i am wanting to know is which of there waters are the carp waters and what is the size of the lakes/fish and the fishing like, i know a little bit about sandmere and dovemere being relatively easy with fish to mid 20s but thats it. Does anybody know how long the waiting list is?

Prince Albert Angling society have a very strict no publicity rule/policy the only place allowed to publish notices of captures from PAAS waters is PAAS's own web site and/or news letter .
With the above in mind you will find nothing on this or any other website regarding captures from PAAS waters
without repercussions

Default Any good Prince Albert waters? II

Chequebookandpen asked a perfectly legitimate question regarding their waters.ie what carp waters they had, fish stock etc.
He is obviously thinking about joining so before he does, he is finding info about the place.
For some reason that I can't comprehend the thread got locked
So what if the club has a NO PUBLICITY policy. That only restricts the members of the club, it cannot stop non members posting their thoughts on the waters that are on the club card.

Has it got to the point where we cannot discuss any club/water on this forum?
What is the point of having a forum if every mention of clubs/waters and peoples OPINIONS of those club/waters gets locked?

Rant over.

defo agree m8 i come under a bit of stick recently for similar and i never even mentioned the place !
as people have said the prince albert is pretty much a closed shop to everyone apart from members so i wouldnt even ask on here m8 , but theres nothing stopping you from asking a member via private message !

As most members know, there are certain clubs within the North West that have publicity bans. In the interests amicable relationships with all Angling Clubs within the region we would ask that all members please observe the rules of your chosen clubs regarding publicity bans.
If your club has restrictions regarding captures please do not use this site to bend your clubs rules

Thankyou.

The above is taken from the forum rules written by the owner Julian Grattidge, now accordinging to Jules's own rules above, please see the highlighted area in red and especially the underlined section.

If YOUR club has a publicity ban, then abide by those rules!
This does not include non members casting their opinion or speculating regarding fish stocks etc providing these opinions are not defamatory against the club.

Going back to the original thread, I have only heard GOOD things about the carp waters on the P.A ticket.I have met a couple of members of the club and they have urged me to get my name down, well worth it in their opinion.
I believe the waiting list is roughly 18 months (maybe a bit longer) so if I were you chequebookandpen, iwould get my name down on the list. You can always decline the offer if you decide it is not for you.

Im not a member yet but ive had my name down for near on a year and a half, could be longer, I believe the waiting list is 2rys now i think tomo...

As tomo13 says... get your name down, theres a certain water throwing up great surprises at the moment. Then you have the likes of whirley and thornycroft which are lovely waters and then sand and dove mere which are meant to be more for the runs. Plus all the rivers... Cant wait to get in!!
