A friend of mine is a new member os sota and is looking to have a few sessions on redesmere, the problem is that neither him or me know anything about the place, so any information on this great water would be really helpfull and much appreciated. Thanks

Ha ha mate, nobody gives any info about redesmere on here mate. Its a bit hush hush.

45 acre Mere which can become heavily weeded in the summer.
During the summer months many of the fish can be found close
to these heavily-weeded, shallower areas of the lake.

Not sure how many 30's are in there now, although some of those
still in from the days when I fished it are, the Snub nose common
(33-35lbs), Single Scale (32-36lbs),Capesthorne Linear (30-35lbs),
Pretty One and Ringtail. I think theres also another common that
scrapes 30 and a mirror called the Peach also can just scrape 30 too.
