Going to be putting quite a bit of time in over the Summer, however I will start fishing heavily AFTER the closed season.

Yep - 15 bivvies at the very least Phil - probably nearer 25 if I was being honest. I wouldn't bother this week.....

Pellet and a bit of hemp for me. Hopefully putting in a bit midweek and fishing weekends.

Not too sure it's a 'bait' water - if you're on the fish I reckon most things would do well. What do you reckon Phil?

id have to agree with you on that..........how many times have we had fish in front of us..........and they just dont want it........spose its partly to do with the amount of naturals in there..........when every ball of weed you drop on the banks crawls back you know your up against it

Its been packed every close season even before SOTAS got the water. Its easy to think about stayin on but after a two month blank other waters start to look a better prospect when they re-open.It was very busy over foot and mouth as it remained open throughout, that resulted in a lot of people blanking for long periods never to return.Bait wise they seem to like any good food bait, particles also did very well about 6-7 yrs ago,but seemed to die off a bit as more decent boillies went in.I'm looking forward to be proven wrong though now I've opend my big mouth.
