the biggest problem with astbury is finding a bunch of anglers who have the B***s to see it through and to work together as a team............only then will it start to produce the quality fish.........ive got the B***s along with many others to put the time in ...........but teamwork doesnt come easy !

You're right there Phil. I walk my dog around there alot and hardly ever see any one fishing the place, and week days its usually empty. Astbury was one of the main reasons I got a SOTAS card as the potential of the place is amazing and its got an element of the unknown which is rare with waters nowadays!! Will definately being having a bash at it this year once its quietened down again!!

Hi all,

Good comment by Phil. How's about a few of us planning a dedicated day at Astbury, maybe getting things moving. I'm up for it over next couple of weeks.

Cheers
