I fished here back in the early 90's.... didn't catch any carp, but had a rack of tench and bream.... It wasn't run by anyone back then, and was a bit of a 'hole'!

There's also a cracking lake across the road, called Star Pool I think (or was back then)... again not run by anybody, and I'm not sure if it's part of the pits... but a lovely water with loads of lillies at one end. I did a 5 day session with my mate in 94... had some lovely tench and lost the biggest fish I've ever hooked in England on my second to last night!!

I had a quick scan around there today. What's it like for setting up a shelter on there? The side I looked at didn't have hardly any space on the pegs to setup up a bivvy/shelter..

Also, is there just the 1 pit? As I drove off I noticed more water that I didn't recall walking past.
