Default Astbury Ahoy
Well, with the closed season finally on us, Sotas members are left with little angling choice, so here goes for an 8 week splash n dash on Astbury..........aims this year are to try and wangle one of those stunning 20lb + commons out.....now wouldnt that be something anybody fancy a Northern Monkeys social on marsh next week ?

I've got the work party on Astbury aswell this sunday so i'll see you there. I'm looking at just fishing the satdy night after work then getting my pa to take all of my gear back home in the morning.

Default Astbury - will I make it this time??
Hi All,

Been planning to hit Astbury for last three days. Maybe I'm a softy northerner but I'm fed up being rained on!!

Tomorrow - I'm deffo going! Anyone else having a vist then? I hear it gets busy in closed season, is this the case on weekdays?

Won't be able to fish it satdy night now Its my dads birthday meal that night so unless i setup in the dark which i don't fancy doing then i'm not gunna be down untill the sunday to do the work party.
