Talking Crab Mill

Just after some info on the place? as a friend of mine keeps asking if there is anything left after the fish kill on there. Has anybody heard about a 30lb Common coming off the place, as there are a few rumours going around at the moment..

cheers

Crabmill only did a handful of fish last year, two of them were 20s which were 21 & 24 both commons, did here a rumour myself the other week about a 30y common from there, there could be one in there as the year of the fish kill it did a 30+ common and there were two others of 28 & 29 .I only know of one of these three, which were found dead ,so there might well be a 30y common in there.
Cotton Moss did a scraper 30y common last year , which is a fish that usually gets caught at 27 ish, people could be getting this mixed up with the one that supposed to be caught from Crabmill.
The fish kill at Crab was a big loss to carp fishing in the North West, which has been one of the areas premier carp waters for over 30 years,i myself enjoyed a lot of good times on there ,lets hope one day it will be back to its best again...

cheers for that, my mate seems to think its a rumour about the 30lb common could of been a mix up between Cotton Moss fish and it would be nice to think that one did survive in Crab. I'll tell my mate, about the mix up.

Cheers for that
