Advice wanted

i am contemplating joining northwich angling club to do a bit of carp fishing any tips and advice greatly appreciated.

I'm a member of Northwich anglers and they have some nice waters with Petty Pool and the billinge bieng just a couple . Pettys a hard nut to crack as you litrally get there at first light set your traps then wait till it gets dark before getting any action .

Oh and the mossys are massive too they dont bite you they take ruddy great chunks out of you .
The billinge is a nice water and my favourite as it has some nice fish in there and my last fish was a cracking 25lb common but it can get rammed out esspecialy in the warmer months .
