BOLESWORTH is frozen solid..................

gutted to say the least.............no fishing for me this week

Anyone got an info on the freeze-status of other waters????

Gonna have to find another un-frozen lake this weekend........

i dont really agree with letting lines freeze inside lakes !
causes too many cut offs resulting in baited rigs with loads of line left out !

Looks like its the river mersey, cod fishing for me then this weekend . That won't be frozen!!

No way Astbury will be frozen mate. I fished the Cricket Ground in Biddulph Yesterday which was clear and thats only 2 acres. There was a bit of a wind up too yesterday as well which would have helped

fishied Capes on Thurs..half the lake was frozen, but thaw'd as the day went on...top pool was clear, so was redesmere...i think after last night capes will be froze. Going up the mere, in a hour or so - so i'll keep u posted
