Top Pool looked to be froze over, drove down side of main lake which was definately froze over around 80%, only clear part near the bridge on the field side up to half way across which is probably because it had the sun early afternoon. Didn't look at Garden Pool.

Could be wrong but reckon it will all be froze in the morning.

After lastnights warmer temperature and the rain also, what do we reckon?..........still frozen over?

Anyone going to Boles tomorrow to try their luck on the off chance that its melted?

Having got up early to defrost my car, walking outside feeling how warm it is compared to the last 3-4 days- id say most lakes will be unfroze by 2morro morning at the latest... warmer weather is coming for the weekend now

It didn't drop below 3 at mine last night, also at work in bolton it shows a minimum of 2 last night! Reckon the lakes should be free.

Yes id say so, its not going to drop below 3 tonight and with some northwesterly winds picking up slightly that should help get rid of any ice that left..
