one problem with poynton is the locals mate, they are doing they're best to get fishing banned from poynton and the way that people are fishing it, they won't have to wait long before it happens.

I have a experienced this first hand when, one morning i was setting up on the boat house swim (the brick shed) and to my amazement on the other side in her back garden was a woman wielding a video camera filiming me setting up!

Bearing in mind it was 5 o'clock in the morning!

other incedent include people throwing sticks to their dogs where you are fishing so they run about in your swim. Piling table scraps into the lake where you are fishing! (althought that may have worked because i did catch that day )

The list goes on.

Don't get me wrong its a great water with some very nice fish in there. But i have decided to stop fishing due to the constant attempts by the residents to get me thrown off!

I may go back next year but untill the new season i'm staying well away!
