Default Blackleach Res Walkden/Kearsley Manchester

Anyone ever had a do????

The reason i ask is i live near the lake its big yes, and Hard would be a understatement concidering the size of the lake and other factors such as the area, the ducks, the canadian pond weed and the fact that no one has ever seen a carp on the bank, I wrote a letter to the Chairman and various others and found out there are a few commons in there that have never seen the bank, there are around 5 common carp in the lake apparently no mirrors and i would say all are over 20lb just through what i have seen, they have a nature reserve and i shouldnt, but i go in often looking for fish climbing trees and geting attacked by mosqutos wading in water and other silly things. I have seen 3 commons in total over the time i spend fish spotting and i would say by sight one of them would be easy 25lb+ the others over 20lb the chance of banking a uncaught common of that size would be such achivement. I have caught one fish out of blackleach i would prefer not to mension sizes ect. But i am keen to get one of the 20lb+ carp out in the forthcoming summer. The reason i say summer is becouse i know where they locate in the summer and i have been watching the lake for years. I am feeling confident in banking one this summer, may be from fishing where i shouldnt be but i have a plan and i dream and one day i will catch one of them beasties !

Anyone ever fished the place ? ? ?

Or is anyone daft enough to fish the place for carp ? ?

Oh yes forgot to mension its full of tench and natural food and you cant use boilies!

Nowt like a challenge Dave....nice long steady prebaiting campaign required before you put the rod hours in maybe....lifes too short for a complete ball breaker!
