Doesn't Turners observe the old closed season and is therefore shut at the moment i am sure someone stated that on the old forum .
However i could be wrong but would check before traveling

Alright guys

Usually anything works at Turners, the worst sesh i had i still managed to pull one out and thats when 3 quarters of the lake was frozen...
First time i really fished Trigga ice completely nailed it, had 32fish when all others on the lake had around 5-10ish....
Tactics that have worked for me:
1) Trigga with a pva bag.
2) Paste worked well on one of them coil things...
3) Had 21 on just a piece of cork popped up/zig about 3ft. (Best in summer though)
4) Corn works/method but then you may start to get to many nuisance fish.
5) Trap and conditioner got them into a feeding frenzy, just fizzers everywhere. And that was just by throwing it out by hand.

All these may have only worked due to time of year and weather etc so may not work for you guys but with not being there for a while now these would still be first choice tactics i would use..

Best spot I have found and which is usually always taken unless there early is the overflow… Either cast down the wood side if no one fishing there and then aim one for the middle. Boathouse is another good spot

In summer its 1 a chuck, just show them anything and they’ll eat it.

To get there if you are coming from Macclesfield then head to winkle. Go past the trout farm on the right and over the Dane (i fink) and just stay on that road. From there i would see its about a couple of mile. You will pass a church/converted house on the left and then come to a really tight right hand bend that is at the same entrance as Swythamly Hall, which is on the left. Go round the bend and literally 40yrds on your left is a farmers drive (pretty sure there is a red post box built in the wall) turn there and drive through the first farm and then you should see a sign say go left. Should be sign posted then... NOT been there for a while so only go by these directions as a rough guide...

Hope this helps

'Morten Fisheries' Never fished it but got a few 'just starting out carp mates' who fish it a lot and catch most sessions so any carper been fishin for a while should definately get some... Certainly wont be as easy as Tuners though..

Lakemoor again is meant to be alright... Again never fished it.. Gawsworth should produce now the winter spell is over (bit expensive tho). Goose Green is relatively easy (no night fishing though)

Few to go at..

Fished Gorsty years back, when the pub was there instead of them houses.

It was a run a minuite then! You could catch literally 2 inches of the bank. Infac one day during a match i thought i'd pulled my pole all the way in but the bait must have been slighty in the water, came back to no pole. It surfaced in the pads in the middle 10 mins later!

go to gawsworth, fish the smaller pool, not the one that gets hammered but the one next to it, cant remember the name sorry. Went there today and had 5 chub and 4 carp to 15lb, not bad seems to have woken up with this warm weather.
