redesmere, to be honest with you its quite pointless just fishing the day sessions on there as you have to find the fish in such a huge lake and try and catch one i find that not many fish come out during the day if any, when they do come out, its more the night and very early mornings, but thats just my opinion lol. hope this helps, cheers lee.

erm, bit of a defeatist attitude that one !

Yes, it helps to find the fish before you start, but a good time to do this is first thing in the morning ! If I was just doing days I would get on the island at first light and as soon I saw movement, would head to the nearest free swim. Fish definately come out in daylight, including this time of year and during the warmer months i'd guess 90% the action is in daylight.

The odds are against you as a day only angler, but the rewards are definately there if you are keen enough.

Good Luck !
