A nice quiet place to fish.....in Manchester?

You'll have to look harder than websites for that one.

PS Let me know if you succeed!

If u don't mind a 20min drive:

Worth trying pecks pool mate on the a34 from manchester to newcastle under lyme road..its just the other side of congelton - before Little Morten Hall and by pecks restraunt.

Loads of fish in there and its day ticket...The owner can be grumpy.

Another place worth trying:

Leg O Mutton on the Kidsgrove Angler's ticket(around £20 for a season) - Multiple catches even with the lake half frozen over - fish to 20lb(good fun)
