Default Astbury Mere

Does anybody have any tactics for winter fishing this place?

I hear it has a good stock, but their hard to catch. I was wondering if anybody could help?

Its on the A34, its about a mile or 2 from congleton town center to the south. pretty easy to find, even think its sign posted. i should know, i live 5 min walk from the place!!! can't believe i can't remember if its sign posted!!! lol

All the above! - on a more serious note, don't be put off by the deeper parts of the lake. Fish have been out at, in and around, the 20ft mark as the weather's been turning.
