Hiya Russ, I haven't been down since early last March but if you search the forum you'll be able to find some earlier posts that give a few pointers. A lot of it depends on which peg you end up on. You do get some of the biggies coming out at this time of year though so good luck mate and post your results so we know how you get on

Just returned seven anglers on. Drew pegs 11 and 12 only two fish out and we got them both. PB's for each of us, mine 19.10 and mate 30.02. Would suggest you look for the fish rise or fizzing and bang a single hookbait right at it and leave, maybe offer a just few extras but no more. We decided the fish would treat quantity as danger and be looking for single bits to hoover up. Towards the end of the day get as near to the middle as you can they seem to group up there. Caught on Nash scopex squid 15mm.

Fished it a few weeks back, over three days before I fished it there were over 50 fish out. On the day I fished it there were 12 anglers on but only 1 fish. It was over 30!!!

Apparently the fish were having boilies now and the pellets weren't producing as well.

The fish shoal up in winter so its very peggy. They are normally in the middle of the lake which makes peg 16 the favoured draw.
