Which part of liverpool mate?

Some of the parks offer pretty good fishing, other than that you are travelling out to cheshire or stoke for any decent fishing IMHO.

It aint the most peaceful fishing i must admit. I never take my good gear either, only go for a few hours at a time so can take just a small bag and one rod. No alarms or anything. Baitrunner and cheap rods. Just a good mat and net. And a cheap camera too.

Tournies, NGs and a SLR will have you bleeding and in the lake pritty fast.

Heard those fish of gone walkies, happy to be proved wrong. There were 2 25lbers but heard both have gone. Had fish to just over 20 from there, not a hard water just walk past the idiots bivved up and catch them.
Then wait 5 mins while they all come round to ask what you had it on

There was one or two fish that where around the 25lb mark. Not easy to spot in amongest the murky water.

I have heard these fish have gone, i know there are others up to about 22lb. Did a 3 afternoons this year for an 11,12 and a 16. There is still plenty in there and not the smartest of fish although the koi can be a nightmare to try and hook.
