hi there new to all these carp angling forums, back at the lakes edge after a few years off. was wondering if anyone knows of any waters with a good head of 20lb fish around the Manchester area pulling my hair out fishing the same old places nothing new happening and in some places nothing happening at all!!!

just be fishing small club water at the moment nothing speacial in there but handy to fish, in threat of being drained so being pushed further afield, fish debdale to to no avail, some monsters in there till it gets drained to if ya can catch them

i'm sure there are quite a few lakes around manchester with the odd 20 in but finding one with a good head of 20's could prove a little more difficult, i'm heading on over to chorlton when it opens in may there are a few in there i believe

why is debdale being drained ?

being drained because of some structural checks strengthening work on the dam wall which splits the 2 reservoirs wish i knew where the fish were gonna go!
