Had a look at this places website. Looks nice!

Does anybody know of the carp stocks? I know theres a few cats in there but not sure what size they and the carp run to.

I believe its a bit of a "bits bashing" venue too????

Any help would be nice as the beloved capes closes in 18 days 4 hours 15 minutes

Hiya Garreth,
There are 19 Catfish in the lake eight of which were stocked this year they range in size from 8lb to 35lb. Four of the latest stocked are between 22-25lb
The largest Carp out so far were all around 17lb we do know that they are putting on about 1.1/2lb per year.
There are the usual coarse fish in there and we have been over run with gudgeon, hence the reason for stocking Cats as we thought we had no other predator fish in there..........you know what thought did!! since fishing for the Cats we have had Perch out to 3lb 10oz caught on Gudgeon live bait.
We think that there are a couple of low 20's in as some of our members report seeing them and we have also spotted them basking in the shallows, but we won't really know until they are caught, as last year was the first time any Carp anglers were on the water apart from my other half David. The original syndicate were all pole anglers and frowned upon us for letting Carp anglers in!!

hope this answers a few of your questions

just looking at your lake,is there a future stocking policy for more carp.
And also do you think the syndicate will end up mainly a carp one!
