Alright mate. I fished it the other week and the garden pool is pretty much clear of weed but there's still a bit in the other side of the bridge. Easily fishable though.

fished capes garden pool today and had 1 tench and about 4 o clock lost an absolutely enormous mirror close to the net , it was a defo very high 20 or possible 30 ,i just wondered if anyone has any clues to what fish it could have been
i got a good look at its left flank and it was a deep golden colour with none or hardly any scales on , it was also quite a long fish and deep in the body.
any ideas ?

Unhappy Very poor

only managed a few hours today mate......it was very disappointing to say the least.....got there and a few noddies were on its a small water and does not react to well to noise...movement..etc.....Saw one fish in 2 1/2hrs...as I usually stalk it.....they just weren't interested The only up side is I am off work until thursday....so will be able to get back on the bank very shortly...at least twice.. Surely they will be up for it at some point

Sounds like a real heart breaker, I hate it, it lives with you for ages. Not that we take this "relaxing passtime" too serious in any way.
