yes , dont go.... unless you like busy waters where the pegs are ten foot a part and full.. if your lucky and draw ithink its swim 16 on the house lawn , you`ll have a bit more room. thats if everyone keeps to there pots..sorry not my kind of fishin, on the bright side , theres some stonking fish.. and people caught on zigs but im not sure if they`re banned now.. i went ln march just before the season ended.. oh and the breakfast s are nice....

Don't be afraid to have a stalk as I think they allow it if pegs are free....read about the stalking potential in a mag last year...I think the bailiff does it...only fished it twice myself and blanked
but you can see the fish rolling and in some swims churning the bottom up...but this is usually in the last hour before the whistle goes some nice fish in there though and plenty of em...my mate fished it twice last autumn/winter and had two on plastic corn with tiny bags...but he was unlucky really as both were only 15lbers...Hope you have some luck there mate

if you are on un-numbered pegs try the one between pegs 6 and 7 (the stump) fish it down the margins 'cos there is 3ft of water right in the edge and the fish come in very close under the bushes, if you are on a numbered peg you will have to draw your peg in the house before fishing. everybody seems to cast at or beyond the markers which can work but just try dropping one short 1 or 2 rod lengths out or if the swim has some margin cover try slinging one down the edge. Hope this helps mate, let us know how you get on

For bait I'd avoid the maggots 'cos there are a lot of roach in the place. Boilie wise I'd say that any quality bait will work, I wouldn't pile it in 'cos a lot of people do that, try stringers or pva bags of broken boilies. and in reply to an earlier post, zig rigs are banned or they were last time I went
