i know this problem to well mate...all the time ive got at the moment is being taken up by a tricky water im fishing...the problem is ive got two good syndicate tickets that i just keep renewing but havent been able to give them a proper go because ive put to much effort into the tricky water..im not one for flitting between waters its one at a time for me but it is proving costly...

if you can easily afford the clubs your in then stick with them because it gives you more choice , im personally only in one club but im rejoining another after xmas for precisely that reason !

Got few tickets on the go but I love the choice it gives me.

Grab a few hours on a local club water when time is short or go and do a few days further afield when I have the time.

I've find some of the rivers that come on the tickets can be hidden gems as well

Im only in two at the moment and both are keepers, hoping for entry to a more exclusive one next season then i really will be spolit for choice. If you can afford it stick with them Geoff if not bin the one you are least likely to use in the next 3 years (bare in mind you wont get back in some too easily)

Same here Geoff, I'm in 4 clubs also.
One at £90 I have hardly scratched the surface of.
One at £140 which gives me plenty of choices....AGM soon, please come.
One at £115 next year which basically is one lake, my favorite of the lot, but somewhat devoid of carp lately.
One at only £35, cheap as chips, I don't like the waters, but at that price the card must be kept in case any of the other waters go tits up.

Too many waters, not enough time.

I totaly agree with my namesake:

£1250 on 4 syndicates and £310 on 3 club tickets.
Its a lot of money to find each year and some tickets/waters Ive yet to use yet, but in a time and area where there are more anglers than good waters Im willing to pay it because its nice to have a choice of good waters, after all should one of them suffer a fish kill or be lost to angling, I still have plenty of good quiet places to fish. Also when you apply for some places you never know when you may get the nod, so I take them when they are offered and worry about when ll fish them later.

Thats the main problem ian i am reluctant to pack any in because of the waiting list to get back in.

I think you are doing the right thing mate it can take years sometimes just to get in tune with a particular water.

i am getting there with this particular water its just the timing thats all wrong the fish are turning up on the prebait when the lines arnt in but im just not allways in contact with them when im on the bank...the syndicate tickets i have waiting are definately easier fishing but i reckon it could be a couple more seasons till i get the chance to do any real time on them...
