Wrightington, Lancs

Does anyone know who has the rights to the lakes that are either side of Hall Lane, Wrightington, Lanc's, They are oh Hall Lane just after you pass the church on the right hand side as you come off the M6.
Any info appreciated.

the one on the right as you head toward the hospital is defo private , dont even bother

Don't think Wigan have it now. Last fished it quite some time ago and the dam wall needed to be repaired, am sure that you couldn't fish off it not long after for safety reasons.

the smaller side is a private syndicate know one of the guys on it not a chance in hell of gettin on it the bigger side is privately owned and used to be on the wigan card,the owner got fed up with all the poleheads and just sacked wigan off no fishing at all

Right hand side deffo dead private, think the land is owned by the Ainscough family. the left hand side... was owned by Wrightington hospital, they sold off part of the land including the water to a wealthy fella, he was wanting to build a big house over looking the lake. not seen the house yet but it could be up on the hill. think he built a boat house on it.

Its Worthington on the W,A,A card.
