Smile Poynton

Hi Im new to the forum

Im thinking of starting a campain on poynton but i dont no much about it.
I went for a look round it to day and im thing boat house and casting accross to the houses. a lad also told me today that 4 lads from withinshore heavily baited the lake and fished 4 10 days about 4 months ago catching 150+ fish between them. any trouth in this?

the catches described are possible however there is no official night fishing on Poynton pool which is a local bylaw enforced by Poynton parish council and also enforced by the controlling club Stockport federation of anglers . No responsible anglers would break those bylaws . Also as with all big fish/catches tales believe want you want to believe but frankly take anything you are told with a pinch of salt and believe it when you see it for your self

Where you heard that from dan. Compstal fishes well all year round but you got to get through the doubles first

i was on when the lads from wythy had that hit. pretty awesome but it wasn't 150 fish it was 82 in two weekends fishing. not bad considering they only used 1oz leads and fished daylight hours

yeah now you mention it will i remember that, but i thought it was 820 in 2 hours fishing, with 8oz leads and 18ft braided hookinks, size 1 hooks baited with a single maggot??? chinese wispers i think

the pool fishes well all year round had a 28.10 29th of dec last year just dont follow the crowd and you will catch the fish it really is that easy as for the crays do your home work and you will find cray free spots and carp !!!!!
