I live 2minutes from the flash and there is rumours of there being some pretty big carp in there aswell as pike. theres a local guy been fishing it for approx 2 years but with out much luck
|

the fish are there mate,, biggest i heard of was a mid 20, i,ve fished it in the past for pike and bream, its done a few 13+ bream, and i,ve heard some real lumps crash out when i was on there that was up in the plank lane end! best of luck, wish you well!

live near it and fished it for years, holds big fish of all species... large perch, double figure bream, huge pike (there's a picture of a 36lb+ in leigh tackle n bait) oh and the odd carp to 35lb (that i know of
 ) so 40lb+.... a possibility. theres only one way to find out
